General Education – Nutrition 101
If you are looking for guidance and tips on how to improve your current dietary habits and want to be “nutritionally informed” and able to make better choices and improve your health and well-being, nutrition 101 is a good place to start. Discussion and handouts will be given on various topics including:
- Metabolic Types and Diet Directions
- Macro and Micro Nutrients
- Digestion and Detoxification Methods
- Cholesterol – Myths and Facts
- Sugar and Artificial Sweeteners
- Allergies
- Acid/Alkaline pH balance
- Antioxidants
- Essential Fatty Acids
- Exercise & Fitness
- Supplements – Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs
This program includes three 1 hour sessions and will be based on each individual’s current understanding of general nutrition and interest in specific topics. Metabolic types, diet directions, macro and micro nutrients, and digestion will be covered for all clients as this lays a foundation for further understanding of how nutrition plays a vital role in our overall health.
1:1 Consulting – Dietary/Health Assessment and Recommendations
If you have specific health issues and want a complete assessment with a comprehensive health summary and program recommendations including diet, supplements, herbs, lifestyle changes, and recommended reading, I can work with you to provide this type personalized guidance & support.
This program includes
- 1.5 hour initial consultation
- Comprehensive health assessment and recommendations summary - this will include a documented 3-4 page summary, handouts, and other materials for you to keep.(one hour)
- Follow up session and evaluation (one hour)
